Summary
Between Worlds Entertainment is currently seeking an original, professionally recorded song to be used in its next upcoming independent feature short film production.
BWE has numerous other films in pre-production and is currently looking for music to sync with this on-going project. The opening is the only spot in the film that is being considered for song placement. All genres are welcome to apply as there is no specific direction, however they do ask that the song lyrics be in English and instrumental introduction to the song be fairly short.
The Film takes place in Rural Canada, and will feature themes such as coming of age, Salvation, Space (as in outer), tenderness, caring, and a look at family values and the disconnection and breakdown that can occur within a loving unit. The film will travel the world festival circuit before being distributed.
Songwriters will retain ownership over their materials and will receive a basic flat fee license. As is standard in this type of agreement, there will not be royalty payments, however songwriters will be compensated $100 CDN per track used, given full screen credit and provided with a copy of the finished product.
