Summary

Big Country Blues is a new web series debuting in 2011. If follows an up and coming country musician as he makes his way to Nashville in the hopes of hitting it big. The producers are looking for fledgling songwriters in the genres of Americana, country, bluegrass, and folk to submit songs for use in the show. Works must be original and submitting artists must own the rights to their work. /n/nBig Country Blues is a new web series debuting in 2011. If follows an up and coming country musician as he makes his way to Nashville in the hopes of hitting it big. The show will follow his trials and efforts as he finds his way through the hometown of American music. The producers have Guaranteed the use of at least one Sonicbids song. They are looking for fledgling songwriters in the genres of Americana, country, bluegrass, and folk to submit songs for use in the show. Works must be original and submitting artists must own the rights to their work.


Submissions should fit the listed songs in style, tempo, and theme. Each fits to a particular scene in the series:

  • “Don’t Think Twice (It’s Alright)” by Bob Dylan

  • “Along The Road” by Radical Face


Artists may submit up to two songs to this opportunity. Each submission should replace a specific track from the list. No song will be used without the author’s express permission.
