Summary

Don't miss this exciting opportunity for you to be seen & heard by key decision makers in the international music industry at Q Music's BIG SOUND 2009.

Local, interstate and international industry will converge in Australia's only live music precinct, The Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, for Q Music's BIG SOUND Music Industry Summit and Artist Showcase. 9-11 September 2009. Showcases will be held on Wed 9th and Thurs 10th September. Export-ready acts are encouraged to apply in all genres of contemporary music.

The artist showcase program is a vital part of BIG SOUND that represents an exciting and valuable opportunity for artists.

One conference registration will be provided per selected act ($330 value).

PLEASE NOTE:

Queensland based artists are encouraged to apply.

Artists who have showcased at international market events supported by Trade Qld and Arts Qld, will be automatically invited to showcase

There is no travel assistance available and each band will be responsible for landing themselves in Brisbane

Regional Qld artists are encouraged to apply and seek travel funding support for conference attendance

Acts to be available to be in Brisbane 9 -11 September 2009

Artists may not showcase more than twice in any 3 year period.

One conference pass will be made available to each successful showcase applicant (band or individual)
