Sonicbids will be hosting a stage at BIGSOUND, and 5 artists will be selected to perform on the Sonicbids stage with 1 lucky artist selected to receive travel assistance and a Showcase slot at the prestigious CMJ Music Marthon in New York. BIGSOUND will celebrate its 11th Anniversary in 2012 with a reputation as the best and most relevant music event in Australia. Produced by QMusic (Queensland Music Network Inc) BIGSOUND attracts local, national and international musicians, buyers and industry representatives to Brisbane's Fortitude Valley for three days of networking, inspiring panels, keynote speakers and live showcases of the hottest talent around.

BIGSOUND Live will hand pick 100 of the hottest new acts to showcase their talent in one of the 10 stages throughout the Valley. Previous acts have included DZ Deathrays, The Middle East, Temper Trap, Washington, Boy & Bear, Children Collide, Cloud Control, Hungry Kids of Hungary, Lanie Lane, Little Red, The Jezabels, The Middle East, The Naked and Famous and many more.
