Big Valley Jamboree

Big Valley Jamboree (BVJ) is the country music event in Canada. The Festival was voted to be the “Country Music Event of the Year” in 2001, 2004, and 2006 by the Canadian Country Music Association. The nonstop action, 80,000 festival goers, and live music is like nothing else that the Canadian music scene offers. BVJ will be held on July 31 – August 3, 2008 in Camrose, Alberta. This year marks the 16th year of the Big Valley Jamboree.



Big Valley Jamboree is now accepting submissions from Sonicbids artists for general performance consideration. While BVJ does feature an emerging artist stage, the main stage at the festival also has a few open time slots available.



Other stages include the Molson Saloon Stage, ATB Family Stage, Singer/Songwriter Tent, and the Gospel Stage. The Main Stage will run from 1:00PM – 10:00PM and has a capacity around 30,000 people. The Molson Saloon Stage is an 18+ venue with a capacity of 15,000 people. This stage runs through the late night hours of 10:00PM – 3:00AM. Compensation is offered for performers, but is based on the stage the selected artist will be performing on. All compensation will be negotiated at the time of booking. This is a great gig for any artist to perform at one of Canada’s leading Country music festivals!
