The Bistro at the Bijou

The Bistro at the Bijou, located in Knoxville, TN, is a downtown restaurant with excellent food, live music, and decades of history behind it. It is looking to book local, regional and touring solo artists and bands to perform live at the venue on Thursday through Saturday nights starting in March. The Bistro at the Bijou welcomes world, acoustic, Americana, cabaret, Latin and jazz musicians. Artists will be compensated. Here’s what selected artists get:

• Artists will be compensated. This amount will be negotiated at the time of booking.


• Exposure while performing live in front of 100 people (at capacity).

Artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments and any sound equipment.



About the venue:


The Bistro at the Bijou Restaurant is located in one the most historic buildings in downtown Knoxville. As the fourth oldest building in Knoxville, it originally was built as a private home for Thomas Humes who unfortunately died of a skin ailment before the construction was completed. His widow opened the house as a hotel and tavern. It was the center of social activity for the community and was known as the grandest hotel in the South.
