The Black Dog Freehouse has provided a unique niche in the area of Old Strathcona and the City of Edmonton since 1992 by providing an atmosphere unseen elsewhere. Since its inception, the Black Dog has maintained an equilibrium between its cutting edge promotions and its traditional roots. It has always been a haven for all walks of society regardless of stature. It is a place where young and old, suits and shorts can relax and enjoy themselves- free from the stigmas attached to most bars.
Genres accepted include: acoustic, singer songwriter and alt. country. Standard bar guarantees will be paid out for performance.
