Summary
The Black Pearl Grub and Spirits is a premier music venue in Western Michigan. The fun atmosphere and pirate decor always draws a vibrant crowd. The Black Pearl has a capacity of nearly 600 and regularly hosts live music and other events. The venue is located in Spring Lake, Michigan, but usually draws crowds from Grand Haven and Muskegon as well.
The Black Peal is now accepting submissions from Sonicbids members for immediate openings for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. There are 10-20 slots available, each month. They usually book performers at least one month prior to the show date. Set lengths will usually last around 60 minutes, and a local draw is a necessity. Lighting can be provided but there is no sound system or PA available. You must be able to provide your own sound system. The venue will provide selected artists with contact information of other bands performing on the same night. Compensation is offered, but is negotiated at the time of booking. Accepted genres include rock, acoustic, pop, jazz, blues, Alternative Country, Reggae and Comedy.
