Summary

The Blackstone Valley Celtic Festival is an annual festival which celebrates music, culture, and the Celtic spirit. This year marks the 6th year of the event, which will be held on July 12th, 2008. The festival will be held at the Performing Center at Indian Ranch in Webster, Massachusetts. This intimate lakeside landscape offers the perfect setting for a Celtic festival. The festival will not only feature a main stage, which accommodates 2,400 covered seats, but will also include an indoor pub stage.

The Blackstone Valley Celtic Festival is now accepting submissions from Sonicbids artists for general performance consideration. They are looking for strictly Celtic artists to perform on either stage at the festival. In the past they have hosted artists such as Celtic folk legend Paddy Keenan, and ten time Irish national fiddle champions Joe Derrane and John McGann. They are looking to book traditional and acoustic artists, but are open to review any Celtic submissions. Artists are offered compensation in the range of $250-$5,000. Exact compensation is negotiated at the time of booking. This is a great live gig for any Celtic performer to showcase their talents in a vibrant and exciting festival environment.
