The Blue Cafe - Long Beach, CA

We are a two level, 10,000 sq. ft. show house, in the heart of downtown Long Beach, with an impeccable reputation for good live music from both national and local acts. With two stages and a capacity of over 700, we are currently seeking artists in all genres except for gansta hip-hop. We are especially in need of some good Punk, Reggae and 80's cover bands!!!



If you are a solid band in the O.C. and L.A. areas with a decent local draw (30+), please drop us a line. We accept local acts only. Bands or promotional shows with a proven draw of 100 or more can be well compensated here.

Steven Adler of Guns & Roses, Poncho Sanchez (2 time Grammy winner in Latin Jazz), Los Lobos, Stephen Pearcy of Ratt, Warrant, Carl Verheyen of Supertramp, Lee Rocker and Slim Jim of The Stray Cats, Long Beach Shortbus (Sublime), Sugar Hill Gang (Rapper's Delight), The SuperSuckers, Canned Heat from Woodstock, Big Sandy and his Flyright Boys, Atomic Punks (Van Hallen Tribute), Wild Child (Doors Tribute), Iron Maidens (Female Tribute), Thund-Her-Struck (Female AC/DC Tribute), Escape (Journey Tribute)



Some of the national acts that are coming soon include:



Vixen (the queens of metal), Ambrosia, The Fixx, Missing Person, Pepper, and Modern English



New and upcoming bands will be working for a percentage of their draw. However, if the band can prove consistency, then a guarantee can be discussed. The Blue Cafe does do presale tickets for big shows, but it is never a pay to play situation.
