Summary
Remember when live music used to be all about the music? Announcing a new bi-weekly music series that aims to help curb all of those old gripes - the show starts too late, the show is too expensive, the bands on the bill should be back in the practice room.
The idea behind Blue Collar Mondays is simple - to give unknown touring acts the chance for exposure by pairing them up with a comparable local act, and to give local audiences and quick and painless way to experience it. The show, to be held at Mohawk Place in Buffalo, NY will never be more than $1 to get in, with all proceeds going directly to the touring band's gas tank. There will be drink specials all night long and the show will be over by 10pm. We know you have to work, so do we. Out of town bands keep all merch sales.
Please keep in mind that Mondays are rough in any town - they are even rougher in Buffalo. You are expected to help with promotion as much as you can.
Rock, alternative pop and similar genres preferred.
