Summary

Blues Bunny is an online magazine aimed at supporting independent music. In April 2007 we will be launching a new monthly feature on our website titled "Spotlight On...". This will focus on a different subject each month - either a musical genre, the music scene in a particular city or geographic area, or a record label (we are also open to any suggestions you may have).

We are launching this through Sonicbids with the first article being on Singer/Songwriters, and we will feature reviews of 5-6 artists in total to cover the categories below:

  • A debut album/EP released in 2006 or 2007.
  • A featured video performance (must be have a Supersonic EPK with video).
  • Artists with an album/EP released in 2005, 2006 or 2007.

Submitting artists will automatically be included in all categories they are eligible for (you don’t have to send anything initially as decisions will be based on what is available in your EPK).

1 or 2 artists will be selected per category. Selected bands will be asked to send a CD for a full review of their album/EP and an MP3 of one track will also be included on the site. If selected for the video category, you will be asked to email the video to add to the site.
