Summary

The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise is the world's only fully chartered blues cruise. The Fall 2007 event will be Bluesin'® On The High Seas October 13-20 aboard the five star Holland America ms Oosterdam to exotic ports in the Mexican Riviera.

The cruise will feature 70+ Performances by 19+ of the Industry's Hottest Acts. Performers include Taj Mahal, Bobby Rush, Elvin Bishop, Low Rider Band, Tommy Castro, Marcia Ball, Rod Piazza, Curtis Salgado, Bernard Allison, Janiva Magness, John Lee Hooker Jr., Eric Sardinas and more.

The cruise will also include Industry Panels, Musician Workshops, Late Night Pro Jams, Pro-Amateur Jams, Theme Nights and much more.

One winning group will be selected to perform three sets on the ship. Selected artist or group will be compensated for their performance as well as given a cabin on the cruise ship at no cost.

Event sponsors include Blues Revue, XM Radio, Big City Blues Magazine, Southland Blues and Sonicbids. Past event performers include Taj Mahal, Dr. John, Susan Tedeschi, The Derek Trucks Band, Ike Turner, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Tito Jackson, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Charlie Musselwhite, Phantom Blues Band, Shemekia Copeland, Tommy Castro, Lil' Ed, Kenny Neal, Corey Harris, Chubby Carrier, Koko Taylor, The Radiators, Tyrone Davis, Curtis Salgado, Otis Clay and Lonnie Brooks.

Founded in 2002, The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise is recognized as one of the premiere Blues Events on the planet. It's a Floating Blues Festival where, according to past event performer Taj Majal, "Everyone Has A Backstage Pass!"

Genres accepted include: Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Zydeco, World Music and Acoustic Blues.
