Second Life: Blues DJ Set

Second Life® is a 3-D virtual world created by its Residents. Since opening to the public in 2003, it has grown explosively and today is inhabited by millions of Residents from around the globe. Among Second Life’s many features and activities, Residents can enjoy live music of diverse genres at clubs and venues.



Durzle Darkstone, (Avatar in Second Life), is a popular DJ in Second Life. He regularly hosts several DJ sets in world. For Durzle, music the honey of life, he was raised by a life long blues musician and has since accumulated 15+ years of experience in the music industry. DJ Durzle combines his natural passion for music with his in-depth knowledge and widespread exposure to all genres to create an unparalleled DJ experience.



Durzle is now accepting song submissions from Sonicbids artists. He is looking to incorporate a number of Emerging Artists into his set. Durzle Specializes in Blues, and is looking specifically for blues tracks to spin at the Horizontal Boogie Bar and at Toby's Juke Joint. He is only accepting Blues tracks in any of the following styles; Boogie Woogie, Swing, Big Band, Swamp Blues, Delta, Texas, Chicago, Soul, and Rock oriented Blues. All submitted songs should have vocals.



Second Life provides a number of opportunities for musicians to reach a broad global community as residents come from countries from all over the globe. Typically, Durzle draws 40 to 50 residents to the club for his DJ sets. This is a great gig for artists to gain some unique exposure which can truly span the globe.
