Summary

The 20th Annual Bluesfest will be held at Belongil Fields from Thursday 9th of April through to Monday 13th of April, 2009, over the Easter long weekend. A minimum of 5 Sonicbids artists will be selected for the 2009 event, which will feature over 100 bands performing on 5 stages over 5 days with an attendance of over 80,000.

Artist fees will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis by Bluesfest promoters when you are selected to play. Past performers include Ben Harper, Ziggy Marley, John Mayer, Bo Diddley, Wolfmother, Buddy Guy, Sinead O'Connor, KT Tunstall, The Black Crowes, Wilco, Joss Stone, India Arie, Keith Urban and many others.

The 20th anniversary Bluesfest will be one of a special kind with organisers working hard to make it the best one yet.
