Selected artist(s) will receive feature in Blurt's newsletter, website, radio, digital mag and a profile in the print publication.

Blurt is receiving over 1,250,000 hits (1,000,000+ page views) per month./n/nCovering everything from indie rock stuff to indie folk to Americana to roots to punk, Blurt is brought to you by the creative team behind the lauded HARP Magazine (called "America's best music magazine" by NPR's Bob Boilen and "the best music magazine in the country and the one that musicians always read" by Foo Fighter Dave Grohl).

BLURT's digital magazine raises the bar for modern music and entertainment magazines by combining insightful features, irreverent interviews, relentless reviews, and first-class design standards, while the site contains provocative blogs, exclusive videos and countless reviews and MP3s. Blurt is receiving over 1,250,000 hits (1,000,000+ page views) per month. Additionally, selected artists will receive a profile in the quarterly print edition of Blurt, available at Borders, Barnes & Noble and hundreds of other outlets worldwide.

A minimum of one Sonicbids artist per month will be selected to receive:


  • Feature in Blurt's bi-weekly newsletter, which will feature the Artist's bio and mp3

  • Featured on blurt-online.com including: news item with bio, video (if available), 1 MP3 on BLURT radio to be in rotation for 1 month. Check out Black Swan Green or Stephanie's Id, Jenny Dee & the Deelinquents, Doug McCurry and most recentlyDrunken Prayer for examples.

  • Your bio featured in digital BLURT magazine.

  • A profile in the quarterly print edition of Blurt

Recent features include The Avett Brothers, Neil Young, Dr. Dog, Jason Isbell, GZA, Marth Wainwright, Cold War Kids, Fleet Foxes and more.

Artists do not need a label deal or distribution but MUST have an album released.
