Showcasing unsigned acts right alongside well established international artists makes for a really exciting bill. The festival is now in its 4th year. Genres accepted are folk, post-folk, anti-folk and alt-folk. They do not accept acts that usually play other genres but want to play an acoustic set for this festival.

Past performers on all the stages include Seth Lakeman, Fairport Convention, The Incredible String Band, Jose Gonzalez, Davy Graham, Seeland, Beth Orton, Starless and Bible Black, Adem and Soft Hearted Scientists, and Cat Green Bike.
