Summary
Boise State University is considering artists for general performance at their various on-campus venues.
They are now booking for their Fall Semester 2007 and Spring Semester 2008. Students will be out of the office for the summer (May-July 2007) and will respond to submitting bands as soon as they begin booking again in August.
They are taking submissions for several different venues and performance opportunities, including:
- Dining Hall Stage (capacity: 100)
- Ballroom (capacity: 160-1400)
- Boise State University, West Campus (various performance spots)
They are open to all genres, but many of their selections will be for "coffeehouse" style events. If you think your music lends itself well to a "coffeehouse" style venue, and you want some exposure to the college scene, this is a great opportunity for you! They are open to booking bands from outside the region, but travel reimbursement is minimal, so local and regional acts are preferred.
Boise State University is currently looking to book artists for many dates during the Fall '07 and Spring '08 semesters. Compensation for performance, as well as travel/lodging varies by artists and is negotiable. Selected performers will be eligible for consideration for multiple shows, meet and greets, and other community opportunities.
