Summary

Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to Boston GreenFest 2010, a multicultural music, film and green technology festival. There are 3 stages of entertainment, film festival, 300+ green technology exhibitors, plus food + drink vendors, urban farm exhibits and farmers market, as well as exhibits and educational games and seminars for all interests and all ages. 50,000 -100,000 people are expected to attend, Boston GreenFest will select a minimum of one Sonicbids band for the festival./n/nBoston GreenFest 2010 is a multicultural music, film and green technology festival. There are 3 stages of entertainment, film festival, 300+ green technology exhibitors, plus food + drink vendors, urban farm exhibits and farmers market, as well as exhibits and educational games and seminars for all interests and all ages.

50,000 -100,000 people are expected to attend the free, 3-day festival. Headliners are still being confirmed but will be some noteworthy bands. Boston GreenFest will select a minimum of one Sonicbids band for the festival. The festival is looking for all styles/genres to play during the day and support the headliners.

Since festival is run by a young non-profit foundation, there is no compensation. All coordinators and staff are volunteers. Selected bands however, will be provided with a merch booth w/ volunteers, if needed. Also, selected artists will have access to the "GreenRoom" and provided with free food + drink.

Volunteers will be available to assist with load in and out etc., ZipCar is providing vans + cars to transport bands from designated lot to avoid parking hassles etc.

Performers will be promoted through Boston GreenFest website "Entertainment" page and through radio and press media partners such as Metro, Phoenix, Stuff @ Night, MBTA, Chronicle, Fox News etc. Also, Nimbit will be creating a storefront on The GreenFest site where bands can sell downloads (Nimbit gets 20% / Bands get the other 80 % of sales).



Accepted genres include Zydeco, World/Asian/Brazilian, Zouk, A Capella, Gospel, Acoustic, Adult Contemporary, Americana, Bluegrass, Blues, Family/Children's Music, Classic Rock, Comedy, Country, Folk, Hip-Hop/Rap, Jam Band, Jazz, Latin, Pop, Punk, Reggae, Rock, Singer/Songwriter, Soul, and Urban/R&B.
