NSD Productions is holding a BOTB with a slot on Warped Tour Sand Diego as the grand prize. Vans’ Warped Tour is visiting San Diego on Tuesday Aug 9th, 2011 in the Cricket Wireless Arena. The winner of this year’s BOTB will earn a space on the Ernie Ball Stage. The competition is open to all genres. Vans’ Warped Tour is visiting San Diego on Tuesday Aug 9th, 2011 in the Cricket Wireless Arena. The winner of this year’s BOTB will earn a space on the Ernie Ball Stage. The competition is open to a wide variety of genres including rock, punk, ska, reggae, singer/songwriter, soul, pop, metal, hip hop, rap, jazz, jam bands, goth, funk, alternative, and Americana. NSD has reserved 3 slots in the competition exclusively for Sonicbids artists.



The performances will take place in the Brick by Brick in San Diego. Attendance for early shows is 200+ with the finals drawing a crowd of over 600. The battle provides great local promotion for all competitors. The promoter requires that acts be family friendly and include no profanity, drug references, or violence. Band members must be 18+ or have a signed waiver from their parents or guardians. Bands that make it to the final round may be expected to sell 40 presale tickets to perform.

Terms And Conditions

BOTB RULES

Each band with members under the age of 18 must have a parent signature on the contract, in order to participate.

Bands cannot be currently signed by a record label prior to contest.

Bands must consist of at least two members, one of which plays an instrument throughout the majority of the performance. Band must be unsigned and the entire performance must be live.

Each band may be required to do a presale of tickets for the battles.

Band name and lyrics of performance songs must not contain any obscenities. The entire performance must be violence-free and suitable for a family audience.

A sound system and microphones will be provided at the competition.

All bands will receive an equal amount of time on stage TBD minutes, with 15 minutes for set up and break down.

On the day of the performance, band members must be dressed in clothing free from obscenities, drugs, alcohol, sex, or any other subject matter not suitable for a family audience.

If a band incites moshing or any other sort of violence in the crowd, the band may be disqualified because they are putting people in the crowd at risk.

Fires, pyrotechnics, fog machines, etc. are not allowed.

When a band is done performing, they are expected to allow the next band to get on stage as quickly as possible.

A panel of judges will score musicians using a point system.

All bands agree to have their name, voice, and/or likenesses used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without any compensation or rights to royalties for such use.

Skinnie reserves the right to make changes to the rules
and regulations of the competition, as well as the final word in any disputes that should arise concerning this event.
