Battle of the Sexes Winston-Salem

Are You Ready to Battle?!



Battle of the Sexes is Men vs. Women in singing, rapping and poetry showcases. The event is designed to present new artists with the opportunity to gain exposure with industry representatives and talent buyers. Due to the success of Battle of the Sexes Detroit, BOTS & Savant Entertainment have merged & launched the Battle in Winston-Salem. BOTS Winston-Salem serves as a fundraiser for humanitarian organizations doing crisis relief work around the world.



There are up to 8-12 showcase slots per show with 1 featured artist. Each show consists of singers, rappers, & poets in our core contestant slots. There are also bands, dancers, comedians, and more to be considered for featured slots. Artists are allowed to perform 1-2 selections. The audience votes on whether the men or the women had the best talent for the night.



Winners receive prizes such as free studio time, free graphic deign, photo shoot, etc., (prizes may vary). If you are chosen to be a featured artist, you may perform 3-4 selections (15 min set). Featured artists also may have the opportunity to sell their products the night of the performance. We ask that all material be the radio edit by the date of performance. We encourage both local and national artists to submit, but traveling acts will not be compensated for travel costs.



Genres accepted: Alternative, Dance, Gospel, Hip Hop, Jazz, NeoSoul, Rap, R&B, Rock, Spoken Word.
