A sprawling Western-themed honky-tonk themed bar, The Branded Saloon is a popular Brooklyn music venue serving southern-style bar food, great drinks & features live bands daily. With daily specials & events, for a delicious meal, cocktail, local brew, and fun entertainment 7 days a week!
We're currently looking for Sonicbids artists for the fall/winter season due to current social distancing practices in place.
The Opportunity
Playing the Branded Saloon is a wonderful opportunity to organically build your fan base in Brooklyn and even begin to eventually create your own nights with other bands and musicians. The Branded Saloon books acts nightly and are always searching for new and exciting bands.
We offer an old western saloon environment complete with antique trappings- foot-powered piano, wagon wheel chandeliers, & a tiger oak bar from the West. Dubbed a "straight-friendly gay bar" by Time Out magazine in 2012, Branded Saloon prides itself on being as diverse as the neighborhood we are located in.
The Band
- Staying true to the eclectic Brooklyn roots, The Branded Saloon is looking for bands of all genres
- They welcome DJs, Folk, Acoustic, Country, Blues, Rock, Jazz, Jam Bands, World, Alternative, R&B, Hip Hop, Soul and Solo Acts. The goal is to create a space that grows along with the neighborhood
- Looking for bands that can draw at least 10+
Bands must be actively playing shows
Acts must have a solid online presence
All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
The Gig
Details:
- Looking to fill multiple dates. Please send your availabilities and we will do our best to book you on dates you requested
- Sets are 45 min unless otherwise discussed
- Must request to use our sound engineer. Rates are $15 per show to use in-house engineer and must give 2 days notice.
- Full backline is provided
- Bands are able to sell merch on-site
- DVD projector available (must test compatibility 2 days prior to your show)
- Cap = 75+
- Compensation is based on draw
- Bands & Performers get 'Branded Happy Hour' prices the day/night of show
