Summary
Brandeis University is a small, private university located in Waltham, Massachusetts, about 20 minutes from Boston. They are a member of NACA, and have a limited number of performance opportunities, predominately in their campus pub, The Stein.
They accept a variety of genres that appeal to college audiences and are looking for inexpensive bands that already have a following in the Boston area. Brandeis prefers local or regional bands, or bands already touring through the area. If you have played at Brandeis before that is helpful as well. Travel and lodging are negotiable, and compensation will range between $200-$700. If you travel with a PA it is helpful, but not necessary; the college can provide some equipment.
In the past Brandeis has hosted; The Joshua Tree Band, Bluewater, Rane, Mighty Purple, RaRa Riot, Mike Fraser, Todd Martin, Parker House and Theory, Ryanhood, The Brightwings, Suckabrown and a wide variety of other artists at several venues on campus.
