Breakthrough to Blues N Roots is a band competition where the winning band will have the opportunity to play in the West Coast Blues N Roots Festival, 2012. 4 local Western Australian acts, via Sonicbids artists, will be chosen to play at a final in March. The winning Breakthrough band will play at The West Coast Blues n Roots Festival 2012 and receive $400 in compensation./n/nBreakthrough to Blues ‘n’ Roots is a band competition offering one emerging artist the opportunity to play at the West Coast Blues ‘n’ Roots Festival, 2012.

Four local Western Australian acts, via Sonicbids artists, will be chosen to play at a final on the 21st March, 2012. The winning Breakthrough band will open one of the stages at the West Coast Blues ‘n’ Roots Festival 2012 and receive $400 for their efforts!

The West Coast Blues ‘n’ Roots Festival is WA’s largest celebration of Blues ‘n’ Roots music and is the ultimate festival experience. The annual musical extravaganza offers a wide range of music all day and into the night in front of thousands of fans. The festival attracts high profile international, national and local musicians, and incorporates arts projects, environmental projects and markets and food stalls from around the globe. Around 20 international, interstate and local acts will take to the stage to perform, and you could be one of them!
