The Opportunity
Fantody is looking for singer/songwriters and rock bands who are interested in playing numerous gigs in the Brooklyn, NY and surrounding areas. Fantody will help to match you with other local and similar sounding bands/performers, to put together quality shows on an ongoing basis, depending on availability. They are musician-friendly and aim for win/win long term, non-exclusive agreements for the benefit of all parties involved.
The Band
- Shows may be 18+ or 21+ to perform
- Open to acts local to NYC
- Original music
The Gig
Details:
- Set times range from 30-45 minutes; some venues for 1 hour or longer
- Sound and lights provided
- Backline depends on the venue
- Fantody is not interested in making money off bands; each band is compensated according to the established policies of the particular venues' house rules. Compensation is typically in the form of door deals, and all selected bands split ticket sales evenly
- May sell merch on site
