Brooklyn County Fair: May 21, 2011

Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to The Brooklyn County Fair, a seasonal celebration intending to create a community for artists and fans to connect over a shared passion for music. This year will be the 4th anniversary celebration of this country music showcase. Each event packs Jalopy Theatre in Brooklyn and introduces audiences to the variety of country music currently being performed in and around NYC. It is looking to book 5 solo artists and bands to perform live at the fair. Selected artists will be asked to play 40 minute sets of classic country, alt-country, Americana and bluegrass. Each event packs Jalopy Theatre in Brooklyn and introduces audiences to the variety of country music currently being performed in and around NYC. Artists will be compensated for their performances (a percent of the door) and they will receive great exposure and networking capabilities as well. The outdoor event takes place at a variety of locations in and around Brooklyn and NYC. The festival will feature raffles and giveaways, food and drink and a whole lot of Brooklyn country. Each festival will feature a band from out of town in hopes of creating a larger artist network. Past performers include: The Newton Gang, Lindy Loo, Uncle Leon and the Alibis, The Doc Marshalls and many more.
