Summary

The BScene Festival is the biggest indoor music festival in Switzerland with over 50 bands performing in 8 different venues. After having sell-out crowds for the past 11 years, the 12th Annual BScene Festival is expected to draw more than 5,500 people.



The festival, held March 28-29, 2008 in Basel (Switzerland’s northeast corner near Germany, France and Austria) will be very heavily promoted in the Basel area, as well as the rest of Switzerland.



BScene has reserved 4 slots exclusively for Sonicbids artists:

  • 3 slots exclusively for European artists and

  • 1 slot for a non-European artist (North American, Australian or Asian)



    Sonicbids will compensate the 3 European artists $700 USD each. The non-European artist will be paid $3,000 USD. BScene will provide backline, hotel, breakfast, dinner and a Festival Pass for both days. Additionally, those artists selected through Sonicbids will receive additional promotion and will be introduced by the Local Media.



    BScene is interested in booking artists in the following genres/styles: Rock, Hip-Hop, Pop, Indie, Alternative, Punk, Ska, Reggae, Singer/Songwriters and DJ's. BScene performers include platinum-selling bands like Lovebugs as well as the coolest up-and-coming independent bands such as The Bianca Story, Navel, Mañana and many more. At BScene, it's all about the music and finding the great bands of tomorrow from all over the world.



    Bscene is a strong and very passionate festival. The people who organize it are in it for the thrill and the fun. BScene is still a non-profit institution.
