Bridgewater State College (Fall 2008)

Bridgewater State College is an institution of roughly 5,500 students in Southeastern Massachusetts that is approximately one hour from Boston, MA and Providence, RI. They are now accepting submissions for performances during the Fall 2008 semester.



Bridgewater State College hosts 4-5 coffeehouse performances each semester. They tend to look for Singer/Songwriters for these performances, but are open to acoustic band performances as well. Coffeehouse artists, depending on draw and other factors, can generally expect compensation to be anywhere in between $200 - $750. This is negotiated after selection, not beforehand.



They are also always open to Comedians and Spoken Word performers who generally can expect compensation ranging from $500 - $2,500, also negotiated after selection.



Please note: They book only a few artists each semester and generally have a very large number of submissions. Please be patient during this process and understand that only a few select bands will be selected each semester.
