Burke Mountain Ski Resort- Weekend Music Series

Burke Mountain Ski Resort, located in East Burke, the heart of Vermont's spectacular Northeast Kingdom, is seeking entertainment for the upcoming summer and fall seasons from early June 2008-October 2008. Performances will take place on weekend nights at The Tamarack, an upscale pub with a great house sound system, full stage and a devoted following.



Local artists, regional artists, and those who will be touring through the area are welcome to submit, as travel costs will not be covered. They are seeking original, unique, all-ages friendly performers.



Bluegrass, Americana, adult contemporary, alternative bluegrass, folk, and roots music are desired. Electric and acoustic acts are both welcome to submit. Acts with name recognition in the Vermont area are especially encouraged to submit for opening weekend and bigger shows once a month.



Performances will consist of 50 minute sets and feature 1-3 acts per night. Artists will be compensated for their performances with a negotiable flat fee, food, and lodging. Sound is provided.
