Burlington's Sound of Music Festival is a free, four-day musical celebration from June 12-15, 2008. The festival, located in Burlington, Ontario, has established itself as one of the premier summer events in the Greater Toronto area. They hire over 80 performers to fill spaces on eight different performance locations that range from the main stage to a downtown street fest.

Attendance at the festival has been estimated at over 160,000 people for each of the past five years. In addition to the live music areas, the festival includes licensed areas, food and merchandise vendors, a Family Zone and a carnival with rides and games. The festival, in its 29th year, is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit event.

Previous headliners include Finger11, Sloan, 54-40, Jim Cuddy, Tom Cochrane, David Usher, jacksoul, Johnny Reid, Doc Walker and Shaye. Emerging artists are featured in the opening spots before the headliners.

Compensation will be provided and is negotiated with the Programming Director at the time of booking.
