Take a shot at fame and fortune. Take your Shot at the Cabo Wabo – the mother of all battle of the bands. In its third year, this epic showdown is coming to a Hard Rock Café near you. Your band could win a Gibson guitar, a Crate amp and an all expense paid trip to Cabo San Lucas to share the stage with special guests Sammy Hagar and the Waboritas at this year’s exclusive Cabo Wabo Meltdown in October! 12 bands will be chosen to compete in each market, so enter your EPK for your chance to take a shot at the Cabo Wabo!



A Shot at the Cabo Wabo will be held Thursdays, April 8th, 15th, 22nd – and the finals will be held on Wednesday, May 5th (dates are subject to change). To check final schedules and participating markets, please visit the Cabo Wabo website. All bands will be notified by April 2nd.



This year’s event sponsors include Nokia and Cingular Wireless, Blind Date, Razor, Oasis CD Manufacturing, Gibson, Crate Amps, EAT’M, Guitar.com and Sonicbids. The 2003 winner was The Piper Downs.
