Summary

Cafe Blue Hills is a not-for-profit “coffeehouse music" venue in Milton, MA that brings fine acoustic, folk and original music to their community in a monthly concert series. Concerts are always on the second Saturday of the month, and in general, artists are booked six months in advance. Featured performers are followed by an open stage or the occasional jam session. Audiences are encouraged to participate, and admission is free unless otherwise noted.

In addition to their ongoing series, Café Blue Hills is hosting their annual end-of-the-season Mini Folk Festival/Concert for Katrina Relief taking place on June 9, 2007. All revenue, not used for travel stipends, is directed to charity. There are two stages presenting over 10 artists, food vendors, and lots of patrons from the area coming to see fine acoustic acts in a listening room environment.

The Mini Festival/Concert is seeking well known acoustic acts to participate. Each act on the main stage will play 30-45 minute sets, and the second stage will host an open stage/ jam session from 7-10pm. Travel stipends are available.
