Summary
Sonicbids is proud to announce an exclusive event for Sonicbids artists: the first Caffè Lena Sonicbids Showcase! On October 5th, 2007, Caffè Lena will feature three (3) Sonicbids artists in what is an internationally renowned cultural center and an American treasure.
Caffè Lena is looking for artists who have played festivals, colleges, clubs, and done some significant traveling. They don't book artists who are just starting out. Accepted genres for this showcase include Americana, bluegrass, blues, old-timey, folk, and gentle acoustic rock. For the showcase opportunity they are accepting solos and duos only. Sound files representing those arrangements are required for review.
The Sonicbids artists will have the opportunity to play at the oldest continuously operating coffeehouse in the United States. Since 1960, Caffè Lena has been considered one of the premier listening rooms in the United States, and has hosted the likes of Bob Dylan, Arlo Guthrie, Ani DiFranco and many more.
