9th Annual Camp Out Roots Festival & Gathering

For the last 9 years Camp Out Roots Festival has been bringing bands out of the woodworks and into the middle of the Mid West Music scene and beyond. Camp Out Roots features 36 performers on 3 stages. They are happy to offer a last minute chance to join the Roots Folk Family, and get in on the best kept secret that you’ve been looking to find for so long:



The last 5 slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists. Compensation includes admittance to festival, including camping/parking, and meals/drinks/beer. Pay starts at $50-$150 depending on draw/location/etc of the performer. Genres accepted include singer/songwriter, folk, rock, bluegrass, blues, reggae, funk, acoustic, and jam bands.



This down home, non corporate music and arts festival is located on over 75 acres of woods bordering the black river falls state forest. Camp Out Roots Festival is not only a music festival, but a gathering of friends and family new and old to celebrate music, art, & life. Put on for musicians and music lovers, by musicians and music lovers, for the sole reason of exposing the best unsigned emerging talent, and making the attendees dance there butts off!
