Stand One Records Presents: Canadian Punk Compilation

Stand One Records is pleased to announce the creation of a compilation CD of original Canadian punk music, to be distributed nationwide. The goal is to showcase original music from 12-15 of the best emerging Canadian punk artists, with two slots reserved for Sonicbids artists. Selected artists will receive five copies of the CD for their own use and royalties for copies sold. This is Stand One Records’ first CD project, with a three-tier goal of selling 8500+ copies.



Musicians selected to participate on the CD may be asked to perform in Toronto for a CD release event. The release date is still TBD. Additionally, Stand One Records will be distributing postcards at big label shows that offer four songs off the CD for free download online. Submissions are open to the punk and post punk genres, with exceptions possible.



All submissions will receive a review even if not selected for the compilation. The $100 fee for inclusion on the CD and the promotional campaign will be waived for the two Sonicbids artists. Additional Sonicbids artists may be selected; however, they will be required to pay the fee.



Please note: Applying artists must be 100% Canadian and must own copyright to their music.
