Summary
Casey's in Los Angeles is looking for Singer/Songwriters or 3 to 4 piece bands in the following genres: Blues, Acoustic Rock, Southern Rock, Modern Rock, and Pop Rock. Just about anything groovy is welcome. Please no spoken word, heavy metal or screaming bands.
HOW THE OPEN MIC WILL WORK:
During our weekly event, we will be looking for guest bands to close out our weekly open mic night as well headline weekday performances. To participate you must audition using one of the 18 open mic slots we have on a Thursday night.
Auditioners must make it there by 9:00. The show starts at 9:30 and ends at 1:30 or until there is no one to play to anymore. There is a back line provided and you must use what we have on stage to cut down on setup time.
Performance slots are up to 15 minutes each. We will pick one artist per week to perform a scheduled weeknight performance or to be a closing act at another open mic night. Some lucky few will be picked to join the HOM Entertainment Group stable of bands. www.thehouseofmuse.com
We have:
A small drum kit (bass, hat, tom, snare, ride, splash, crash). Full size electric stage piano, bass amp (high powered), and 3 vocal mics. YOU MAY BRING "SMALL" AMPS. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR HUGE STACKS! There is no place to put them and it's not that kind of venue.
