Summary

CEG Presents is looking for experienced/professional jam/rock/funk bands to play NYC's legendary lower east side venue Arlene's Grocery this winter and spring.  With a dedicated local following, this is a great way to build your reputation in and play with other great bands.



The Opportunity

CEG Presents is an entertainment company that does club & concert promotion, private event booking and coordination, marketing, sponsorship and promotional services to venues and musical artists of all ranges and genres. We are live music fans first and foremost and we look forward to working with new and exciting musicians!

Arlene's Grocery has been a staple of the downtown NYC music scene since 1995. As a handful of live music clubs pop up (and down) in the neighborhood, Arlene’s still holds true to its intention of nurturing emerging talent, providing a great experience for fans, and remaining an NYC institution.  

The Band

  • Bands must have live show history in New York or have relationships, friends, family, etc in the NYC area who will allow them to draw a paid crowd

  • This is an amazing opportunity for local and nationally touring artists. If you have an amazing sound and looking to gain a wider audience, this is the gig for you!


    We're looking for bands of all genres that play original music. We love Rock, Jazz, Folk, Acoustic, Country, Blues and Soul acts, but we're open to all genres if it's good music


    Bands must be actively playing shows 


    Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play


    Bands are able to sell merch on-site


    All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase


    Acts must have a solid online presence 

The Gig

  • Set Length: 40 mins
  • General backline will be provided
Compensation:
  • Bands will receive a percentage of door sales 
  • Band keeps 100% of their merch sales
  • Small green available for bands
  • Bands get drink tickets
