Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to SERUM, a record label distributed through Universal Music Group and Universal Music Christian Group, they seek talent that can hold their own and what better way to show and prove than by a showcase for a few hundred people at a performing arts school where the children can learn as well. The final winner, selected by the audience, will receive a demo deal worth $3,000 and will appear as a guest on one of our upcoming projects within a one year period./n/nAt SERUM, a record label distributed through Universal Music Group and Universal Music Christian Group, they seek talent that can hold their own and what better way to show and prove than by a showcase for a few hundred people at a performing arts school where the children can learn as well. There will be nine shows, one every 2nd Friday of the month (excl. December 2010) and each show will be a round. First, second, and third prizes will be awarded each round. First place winners will go on to compete in the finale, and will be given a DVD of the show. The winner of the January 2011 finale will garner the grand prize. The final winner, selected by the audience, will receive a demo deal worth $3,000 and will appear as a guest on one of our upcoming projects within a one year period.


A variety of genres are welcomed and encouraged. They have held several shows for this school under their Celebration of Life & Hope Benefit Concert Tour in the past. As the school opens the new year in September, they wish to bring more electrified talent to the stage. The first show will be Friday, Sept. 17, 2010 and doors open at 6:30pm. A minimum of 12 Sonicbids artists will be selected to participate in the competition, while they plan to book 8 Sonicbids artists will likely be selected per show, for a total of 64 Sonicbids artists selected. hose not selected for first showcase will have a chance to perform at a later date to compete against current winner or on another showcase elsewhere.


SERUM strives to always give back to the community in every thing they do. In this event, the community will be the judge of this talent showcase. A portion of the door proceeds go to the performing arts school to aid the school in buying much-needed equipment to sustain their programs.
