Precious Oil Productions Ltd is a media production company based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. They produce TV documentaries, radio shows, music albums and a number of podcasts.

Their 'Celtic Roots Radio Show' podcast has been running regularly since September 2008 (with 5-6,000 downloads of each show in 90 different countries) and in April 2009 launched their own 'Celtic Roots Radio' internet radio station and, recently, their long-planned 'Celtic Roots Compilation CD'.*

They are open to consider any music from within a broad Celtic/Roots spectrum: Celtic, folk, folk/rock, Celtic rock, Appalachian, Breton, Galician, bluegrass, Scottish, Irish, Cajun, Nova Scotia/Cape Breton, mountain, some blues, world folk, middle-eastern, singer/songwriter, a cappella, etc.

Tracks should be studio recorded and normally no more than 3-4 mins. in length. Please listen first to our Celtic Roots Radio station on Live365 - especially the main playlist, or our 'Fresh Roots' show (new artists - see our 'Radio' page for schedule) - to get a better idea of the types of music we normally play.

Please - NO country, jazz, reggae, rap, hip-hop or metal!

Such artists will initially be considered for playlisting on our 'Celtic Roots Radio' internet station, but some will also be chosen to be included in the 'Celtic Roots Radio Show', (podcast), which also airs on our own station and on the 'Radio Eden' satellite network, world-wide.

Those artists successfully submitting to the above opportunities will be offered a place on the 'Celtic Roots Compilation CD' (*additional cost involved) - a promotion-only (not for sale!) CD to be sent out to several hundred radio presenters, magazines, on-line ezines & other Celtic, roots or acoustic websites. Artists will receive feedback from DJs, etc. - comments on their track and details of any airplay received.

Successful playlisted artists will also be given other opportunities (either FREE, or at minimal cost) to promote their music via Celtic Roots Radio.
