Selected artists may also be featured on the podcast and the Celtic Roots Compilation CD./n/nPrecious Oil Productions Ltd is a UK media production company based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. They been have producing TV documentaries, radio shows, music albums and several podcasts for a number of years.

The 'Celtic Roots Radio' show podcast has become very popular in the last year (over 25,000 subscribers in over 60 different countries, including most states of the USA) and in April 2009 they felt that it was time to launch their own 'Celtic Roots Radio' internet radio station, together with the long-planned 'Celtic Roots Compilation CD.'

They are open to consider any music from within a broad Celtic/Roots spectrum: Celtic, folk, folk/rock, Celtic rock, Appalachian, Breton, bluegrass, Scottish, Irish, Cajun, Nova Scotia, Cape Breton, mountain, some blues, world folk, middle-eastern, singer/songwriter, a cappella, etc. Please no country, jazz or metal.

Such artists will initially be considered for playlisting on our 'Celtic Roots Radio' internet station, (for a minimum of one month, giving our listeners time to vote for their favorite tracks), when their SB status will be set to 'Interested'. Those tracks which receive sufficient interest from listeners (or they just really like) will also be included in the 'Celtic Roots Radio' show podcast, which also airs regularly on their station and on other internet stations. These artists will be given a 'Selected' status.

Those artists successfully submitting to the above opportunities will be offered a place on the 'Celtic Roots Compilation CD', to be sent out to several hundred radio presenters, magazines, on-line ezines & other Celtic, roots or acoustic websites. Artists will receive feedback from DJs, etc. - comments on their track and details of any airplays. We will also have other opportunities for successful artists to gain exposure, (eg. liners and Ads. on our webcast station).

Terms And Conditions

Acceptance of submissions is at the discretion of Precious Oil Productions Ltd and no discussion, or correspondence will be entered into regarding our decision.

Artists give permission for their track/s to be aired on non-royalty paying internet stations, podcasts, websites, etc., in addition to normal AM/FM/satellite (royalty-paying) radio stations.
