  • Gentle Friday - Gentle Friday is an outdoor event where over 1,500 students celebrate the end of the academic year. The main stage where artists perform is the primary attraction throughout the day. Gentle Friday will take place on Friday, April 27, 2007 and will feature Hip Hop, Pop, Rock, Singer, or Urban performers.

  • Coffeehouse Performers - CMU Program Board is looking for local or national musicians to come perform at the campus coffeehouse. With a capacity of 300 people, CMU is interested in Acoustic, Singer/Songwriter, Folk and other mellow acts for their shows.

  • Comedy Acts - CMU Program Board is looking for comedians who have experience performing for a college audience. Acts will be compensated and lodging and hospitality will be provided. Past performers include Dane Cook, Mark Curry, VH1 Best Week Ever, and Lewis Black.

  • Major Concert/Comedian Opener - Each year, CMU Program Board hosts a major concert or comedian. This event is open for the school and the public to attend. The major acts often require one or two opening bands.

Compensation for performers ranges and includes travel. If needed, lodging can also be provided.
