Summary

Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom is located in Denver, Colorado in the old Casino Cabaret. Our history dates back to the Cotton Club days of the 1930’s when Jazz greats such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Benny Goodman took the stage when they toured through Denver. Over the years, the Casino Cabaret hosted such acts as Ike and Tina Turner, BB King, Jimmy Smith, and countless others. We’re continuing this tradition of great music with Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom. We opened back in January of 2003 with Robert Walter’s 20th Congress. The fans immediately felt the good vibes in the room and since then we have had many outstanding music experiences.

The ballroom holds 700 people and has a balcony that wraps all the way around the room with bars on both sides, creating an intimate setting. We are looking to book local and touring bands with a good fan base in all genres to come and play our historic ballroom. We book two months ahead of time and all bands will be compensated, with details to be determined.

We have an excellent sound system comprised of two Meyer UPA-1P speakers per side and a pair of Meyersound 650P subwoofers; this room is ready to rock. Our lighting system contains a 48-channel light board and 6 Martin 918 intelligent lights which nicely compliment the nation’s largest disco ball, measuring 5 feet in diameter.

Prominent past performers include: Steve Kimock Band, MOFRO, Radiators, Chris Robinson, Sound Tribe Sector 9, New Monsoon, Tea Leaf Green, Perpetual Groove, Toots and the Maytals, Del McCoury Band, Robert Walter's 20th Congress, Hot Buttered Rum String Band, and many others.
