Central Florida Music Festival 2011

TODAY is your LAST CHANCE to submit to The Central Florida Music Festival, an annual festival held at the Sun n Fun complex in Lakeland. This year CFMF will select 20 acts from SonicBids to showcase their talent by performing for some of Florida's most popular venue owners, management agencies, record companies and other industry professionals.

This multi-day high energy exposition of musicianship, showmanship and raw talent centers around the celebration of music. As the largest independent music event in Central Florida the CFMF presents a distinct opportunity for bands/artists. This year CFMF will select 20 acts from SonicBids to showcase their talent by performing for some of Florida's most popular venue owners, management agencies, record companies and other industry professionals. Plus, with the large number of instrument and equipment suppliers on hand, there is an increased opportunity for endorsements and discounts.



Meridian Music Group, a division of Meridian Enterprises Inc., is the hosting company for this event. The President of the company, Eric W. Carroll, is an accomplished musician and vocalist, and a professional audio engineer. You might have heard of his distant cousin Jason Michael who smashed country billboards several times over. With a tradition in music dating as far back as medieval times, the Carroll family has forever imprinted their name on music, and have genetically passed that desire to their descendent to do the same.



Mr. Carroll has had the opportunity to work with some really amazing people. A few of his favorites are: Buddy Jewell, Bellamy Brothers, Gatlin Brothers, Andy Griggs, Kelly Pickler, Blue County, Joe Diffy and his all time favorite Mr. Darryl Worley.



It is with his love and passion for the music of great performers that Mr. Carroll built, with the help of an amazing team, the Central Florida Music Festival. It is the first of its size in Central Florida.



All artists that are not selected will receive the option of 2 complimentary tickets, per band member, to attend the festival, and the first 20 who express interest can be allotted space to hand out their materials or sell merchandise.



CFMF believes in independent music and fully supports independent artists in everything they do.
