With an average Sunday attendance of over 7,500 per day, the Chattanooga Market has grown into a Top 10 tourist destination for the river city. Palo Duro is seeking bands to play at the Chatanooga Market on Sundays and their new Market Plaza Parties on Thursdays. All artists will be compensated a flat fee of $100-$150, plus 100% of merchandise sales; bands will be provided an area near the stage to display merchandise.

In addition to being the region's largest farmers market, The Chattanooga Market supports a live entertainment music series of musicians and other performing artists throughout the year. Admission is free to the public, and is very family friendly. The series runs from late April through early December.

The Chattanooga Market Plaza Parties, their brand-new Thursday Market & Music Series, are held at the world-class Miller Plaza and run May-October. Performers will enjoy a performance arena with professional sound, private dressing rooms and excellent sound & lighting.

Palo Duro Presents is now accepting submissions from professional musicians & performing artists who will be routing through the region and who are interested in performing at this unique venue. All genres/styles are eligible for consideration, but lyrics and presentation style must be family-friendly.

Palu Duro recommends that high-energy bands strongly consider Thursday, as the venue is custom-designed for live music and hosts other music series throughout the year. Between the two markets & music series, they anticipate that over 120 artists will be booked in 2010.
