Choochokam Music & Arts Festival 2010

Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to the 35th annual Choochokam Music and Arts Festival. The festival will be held July 10-11th, 2010 in Langley, WA. Over 18,000 people were in attendance last year.

There are 15 slots reserved for Sonicbids members. All artists will be compensated with a modest stipend./n/nAlliKat Records is looking for artists for the 35th annual Choochokam Music and Arts Festival. The festival will be held July 10-11th, 2010 in Langley, WA. With over 18,000 people in attendance last year, this year promises to be even bigger. A minimum of 15 Sonicbids bands will perform at Choochokam Music & Arts Festival in 2010.

Artists must be from the Northwest region (this includes Washington, Oregon) and play original music. All artists will be compensated with a modest stipend, and this is negotiated at the time of booking. This is a non-profit event, compensation is modest, and artists are asked to consider this before submitting.

The festival boasts 3 stages including a main stage, acoustic stage, and family stage. Choochokam, loosely translated from the Hopi word, means gathering of the stars. This year's festival will host more than 50 performers and over 100 fine artists and craftspeople at this street festival in beautiful seaside Langley, just northwest of Seattle on Whidbey Island. The event is free to the public.


Allikat Records will provide a staffed artist booth next to the main stage to showcase and sell artists CDs and other merchandise as a service to all performers and takes no percentage for this service.

Please note: Choochokam Arts does not permit the performance of music licensed to other entities (no cover songs are permitted) Cover bands and tribute bands will not be considered.
