Choochokam Music & Arts Festival 2013

The 38th annual Choochokam Music and Arts Festival, expecting close to 30,000 attendees, hosts more than 50 performers, three stages and is promising to select a minimum of 10 Sonicbids bands to perform.



What Selected Artists Get:

• All artists will be compensated with a modest stipend, and this is negotiated at the time of booking.


• Allikat Records will provide a staffed artist booth next to the main stage to showcase and sell artists CDs and other merchandise as a service to all performers and takes no percentage for this service.


• Local radio exposure from 90.7 KSER independent public radio.


• A chance to perform at the beautiful seaside Langley, just northwest of Seattle on Whidbey Island.

• ALL MUSIC must be original.
• This is a non-profit event, compensation is modest, and artists are asked to consider this before submitting.

Choochokam, loosely translated from the Hopi word, means gathering of the stars. This year's festival will host more than 50 performers and over 100 fine artists and craftspeople at this street festival. The event is free to the public.

Please note: Choochokam Arts does not permit the performance of music licensed to other entities (no cover songs are permitted) Cover bands and tribute bands will not be considered.
