Summary

Since 1976, Cicero’s has been serving up the finest pizzas, pastas, and gourmet burgers as well as serving live music to hipsters in the University City Loop. Cicero’s originally placed its mark in the U-City Loop one block down Delmar at 6510. It was at 6510 that Cicero’s defined itself as “THE Place to be” serving as a breeding ground for many up and coming bands including Uncle Tupelo (Wilco & The Jayhawks), The Urge, Beck, Ani DiFranco, They Might Be Giants, The Cranberries, Ludo, Greenwheel, and others.

Cicero's is currently accepting submissions for performances on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Acts who have a proven, solid draw in St. Louis will be compensated with a negotiable flat fee. Other artists will be compensated with a percentage of the door after production expenses.

Cicero's is interested in alternative rock, modern rock, and emo-rock only. No jam bands, hip hop, country, cover bands etc. will be booked.

Set lengths are entirely dependent on the number of the bands on a bill as well as how long each band would like to play. On average, 2-3 bands share the bill.

Cicero's provides a full sound PA including microphones, EQ, effects, and a trained professional to operate the equipment. They do not provide a full backline.

Cicero's generally books two-three months in advance, but the occasional filler opening occurs. Please take a moment to visit their website and view the calendar. When submitting, you will be asked which dates you are most interested in playing. All dates with either TBA or artists listed are booked. Only dates that are blank are available to play.
