Summary
CIMMfest is the Midwest regions only music based film and live music festival and conference, packed with shows, premiere screenings, special events, concerts, exhibits, workshops, and presentations. CIMMfest celebrates the intersection of music and movies in all forms, from around the world. Venues range from 1500 to 150 capacity and suited to many different genres from rock to EDM, to blues and hip hop.
They are looking for:
- Artists with a strong visual component in their live show
- Live scoring to movies
- Tour routing through Chicago for CIMMfest
- Up to 100 musical acts over 4 days
- Music video submissions to the film festival (cimmfest.org for details)
With festival central along the 1.5 mile stretch of Milwaukee Avenue from Wicker Park to Logan Square, CIMMfest is located in the citys center of independent culture, art, and music. The festival footprint allows attendees easy navigation from venue to venue. We are creating a space for musicians and filmmakers, fans, educators and entrepreneurs to come together and share their passions, to collaborate and connect.
This past April 2013 was their biggest and most successful festival to date.
Along with over 100 international films and videos and 50 live performances, they launched CIMMcon, a professional and entrepreneurial conference.
