Circus of the Shattered Monkey existed to be a forum for those that are not like everybody else- the experimentalists, traditionalists and all sorts of misfits.

The show was touring up and down the Northeast and presented in such reputable rooms as the Knitting Factory (NYC), Middle East (Cambridge, MA), Maxwell's (Hoboken, NJ), Club Metronome (Burlington, VT) and has a glorious paper trail. Everywhere they went, they took acts from other regions that represented the essence of what their show was about.

After a two year hiatus, Circus of the Shattered Monkey is resurrecting and are looking for a new cast of players.

Auditions are going to be held every Monday in March, as well as April 13th at the Artist Jump Off in Revere, MA. They will be staging one show in Revere on April 24th with some new players and then they will be at the esteemed Brooklyn venue Public Assembly on April 30th. One artist from the auditions will be asked to accompany Circus of the Shattered Monkey for the show at BrooklynÂ’s Public Assembly on April 24th.

Please note that these auditions are not a competition for that one gig, they are gearing up for the future and hope to have this one date only be the start of many more to come. This is a great opportunity for any artist - who just might be monkey enough - to perform with Circus of the Shattered Monkey in New York.
