Summary
The 19th Annual City Stages will be held June 15-17, 2007 in downtown Birmingham. With 125 artists playing on eight stages, City Stages boasts a broad range of musical performances including rock, alternative, hip-hop, country, R&B, gospel, classical and singer-songwriter. The festival also features a Children's Festival, arts & crafts and terrific southern food. Last yearÂ’s festival attendance was 100,000!
Performers featured at last year's event included Snoop Dog, The Allman Brothers Band, Hank Williams, Jr., Yellowcard, John Hiatt, The North Mississippi Allstars, Shinedown, Morris Day & The Time, The Beach Boys, the subdudes, Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives , Los Lonely Boys and Tommy Emmanuel.
Festival sponsors include Coca-Cola, Miller Lite, Alabama Power, AmSouth Bank and Books-A-Million.
Selected artists will be compensated for their performance.
